LWPC Community Governance Phase 2 Questionnaire

Telford and Wrekin Borough council have now advised their phase two part of the governance review process; they are looking at two proposals for Little Wenlock parish as follows:

Option 1 Merge Little Wenlock and Wrockwardine parishes, Little Wenlock to be represented by 2 councillors and Wrockwardine by 5 councillors

Option 2 Merge Little Wenlock, Wrockwardine and Roddington parishes, Little Wenlock to be represented by 2 councillors, Wrockwardine by 5 councillors and Roddington by 4 councillors.

As your current Parish councillors, we have grave concerns on this proposal as we feel that this would have a significant impact on the loss of identity for our community and on a day to day basis the lack of ability that the proposed two councillors would have to raise concerns of residents and deal with community issues when Little Wenlock representative councillors would be in a significant minority.

We urge all residents over the age of 18 to complete this survey.
